A 1995 CCHS graduate, Meggan Hoag competed in golf, where she was a three-time state qualifier, finishing state runner-up as a sophomore, fifth as a junior, and sixth as a senior. She was a three-time first-team all-state golfer, four-time conference champion, three-time sectional champion, and two-time regional champion.
Meggan still holds CCHS records for best nine-hole match score, best nine-hole round in an 18-hole match, and best 18-hole tournament score. She went on to Michigan State University, where she was a three-time letter winner for the Spartans.
